Seller

Goods are sold by Tsuri Neko, a Belgian company shipping from Leuven, Belgium. Full company registration details are available on request from hello@tsurineko.org.

Scope

These terms apply to every order placed through shop.tsurineko.org. By placing an order you accept them. We may update them from time to time; the version in force is the one published at the moment you order.

These terms assume you are buying as a consumer. Business orders with a VAT-ID and reverse-charge handling are not supported through this shop at present. Write to us first if that is what you need.

Products and prices

All prices are in euro and include 21% Belgian VAT. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the weight of your order.

We try to represent products honestly, but small variation in colour and weave is normal for natural-fibre rope. Photos are illustrative.

Stock figures shown on the site are kept up to date but are not guaranteed. If a product is unavailable after you order, we will refund you in full.

Placing an order

A contract is formed when you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation by email. The button at checkout is labelled "Order with obligation to pay". Clicking it commits you to payment.

Keep the confirmation email; it is your proof of purchase.

We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is mispriced through obvious error, if the address is outside the zones we ship to, or if we suspect fraud. Any payment already taken is refunded in full.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe. We accept the cards and local payment methods Stripe enables for Belgian merchants. Your card data is handled by Stripe; we do not store it.

Delivery

Orders ship from Leuven, Belgium. See the shipping page for zones, prices, and indicative timings. We pack orders by hand; expect dispatch within two working days under normal conditions.

Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed over at the address you gave. If a parcel goes missing in transit, write to us. We will work it out with the carrier.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Belgian and EU law. The full procedure, costs, and the model withdrawal form are on the returns page.

Event tickets

Event tickets cover admission to a dated, time-bound event. The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to them under Article 16(L) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the Belgian Code of Economic Law that transposes it.

Cancellations and refunds follow the policy stated on each event's product page. Typical terms are: full refund up to 7 days before the event, 50% within 7 days, and no refund within 24 hours of the start time. The policy in force is the one published on the product page at the moment you order.

Conformity and warranty

The legal warranty of conformity for consumer goods (two years from delivery, Article 1649bis of the Belgian Civil Code) applies. If a product is defective on arrival or stops conforming through no fault of your own within that period, write to us and we will repair, replace, or refund as the law provides.

Rope is a tool; check it before use, retire it when it shows wear, and follow the care guidance on the product page. Damage from misuse, neglect, or normal wear is not covered.

Liability

We are liable for direct loss caused by our fault, up to the amount you paid for the order in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under Belgian law.

Intellectual property

The site, its copy, photographs, and the Tsuri Neko name are owned by the company trading as Tsuri Neko. You may not reproduce them without permission.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events outside our reasonable control: postal strikes, customs delays, supplier failures, illness, and the like. We will tell you what is going on and refund anything you have paid for goods we cannot deliver.

Complaints

If something is wrong, write to hello@tsurineko.org. We aim to reply within two working days.

EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by agreement falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Leuven, save for the consumer's overriding right under Belgian law to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Orders are governed by the version published at the moment they are placed.
